I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.
At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.

That's the problem with criticism: There are very few outlets keeping it afloat. There's not enough money. And also, if you criticize an album by a popular artist, you have to be prepared to get d**th threats online because stans have nothing but time. It's insane.
