Honestly my biggest gripe is that most modern games that utilise huge budgets almost always focus more on graphics than actually innovating on gameplay in an ambitious way, thus you just have to upgrade hardware to play mostly the same types of games but with comically larger file sizes

If you are familiar with the word “geas” from D&D, it might interest you to know that it's a Gaelic word for “taboo.”

In Irish mythology, a geas (pronounced "gaysh") would both grant someone who kept it vigor/magical power, but breaking the geas would spell doom.

THIS is what AI can't replace. A show we might have fond memories of was part of the creators' life story as well. There is emotional resonance in human creation. Through it, artists reach out to say, "This is how I feel. This is what I want you to understand." And we, in conversation, feel back.

It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea
