Didn't feel like I did a lot this year, but I got a quilt finished for the quilt show, made a supply organizer, hand beaded a three tier headpiece in size 15, and will probably finish this sweater over the next weekend, on top of finishing scripting 2 projects, school & thesis work, & moving.

So as a person who sews and makes things, I've got thoughts on the fabric end of this, and they are echoed in the thread. The main takeaway is: look for natural fibers in your clothes: cotton, linen, wool fibers from animals, silk, hemp. Look for 100% cotton. This is not easy or entirely doable, but

I have received three pics in 24 hr of my bros standing in front of Adamses, this is the first time I've seen one of their faces in over a decade. ❤️
One time my D&D sesh got held up for nearly an hour because while waiting for one of the guys to show up, someone brought up the local grocery store that 2/3rds of them have gone to, and it's some of the most passionate discussion these 30-to-50 year old men have had in easily a decade.
