you can't vote nazis out of power. you can't legislate nazis out of power. you can't litigate nazis out of power. there's only one way you can remove nazis from power. every moment we delay in accepting that fact is a moment in which they're advancing their plans against us.

This is correct. You do to nazis what the people of Italy did to Mussolini. They were right to do it and they set an example.

Chuck Schumer is voting for the Republican CR bill. I think you need to realizing that Democrats are a big part of the problem. Enabling fascism isn't anything to be proud of.

Well-off liberals still, to this day, think that you can get rid of fascism with ridicule, clever takes, and refusing to pay attention to them. But those are rules for the boogeyman, not for real monsters. With real monsters, the only way to handle them is head on. Or head off, as it were.

this is the best way of putting this I think I've ever heard. I didn't spend the 90s yelling at Jim Riggleman because I wanted the Cubs to lose. I did it because I wanted them to win. and then, twenty years later, but only once,
we need more sports fan energy in dem politics. no one shits on their own losing team more than sports fans. i dont understand why libs are so afraid of doing it

I'm sympathetic to people who "Don't want to hear about politics all the time" but unfortunately "politics" for the average person will probably get much less abstract in the near term. It's going to get harder to get through a day without going "Wait it's legal for them to do that?"

We see this constantly in US and EU media where Palestinian teenagers no matter how young are presumed to be militants, and the IDF butchers are always wee lads of a mere 27 years old. Same as we do to young black and native and latino boys here.
