American cops would have shot that man who stopped the gunman, let the gunman the away with a stroll and then sued the hero for making them look bad.

One of the prevailing worries for years was that with misinformation or deepfakes or AI videos people wouldn’t be able to tell what was real and what was altered.

But what got missed was the larger problem: that people wanted and needed to believe the lies being fed to them.

WOW; a DEEPLY corrupt move by the immigration courts; clear collaboration with Trump admin officials to produce a specific result with zero notice to the party and ALSO in a situation where the judge facially lacks jurisdiction; the judge had denied a motion to reopen and the case is on appeal.
Judge Xinis ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release in part bc ICE could not produce a final “order of removal” to deport him. So last night, they went out and got an immigration judge to issue one.

Now, Abrego is urging Xinis to block his redetention. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

We are much less safe with these people in charge.

This is abject incompetence and insanity, rejecting sound public health policy and science.

What sticks out to me is how absolutely unafraid of prosecution this psychopath is. Part of it is narcissistic personality disorder, but it's mostly the perceived weakness of Democrats. Should they retake power, no one expects Democrats to hold anyone accountable.

#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

Dems release a video reminding troops of their responsibility to disobey illegal orders.

They’re called seditionists.

WaPo breaks the news that Hegseth said to kill survivors of a boat strike.

WH: “It wasn’t him! It was Admiral Bradley!”

This is why you disobey illegal orders

Former President of Honduras who’s serving 45 years in prison for drug trafficking?

He gets a full presidential pardon.

Both are Honduran. Only one is a criminal.

Journalists are supposed to speak truth to power.

Expose the facts no matter what.

If Trump calls a reporter a “very stupid person”… everyone in that room should call him out.

They should tell him he must answer the question.

They should demand a basic level of decorum.

He refuses?

Walk out.

Republicans are purposely and strategically incompetent on antiterror; they hope for violent attacks they can frame as terrorist, to justify accelerating the terrorist violence they’re already enacting against the US civilian population.
2/ nor can we forget Thomas Fugate, the 22 year old Trump campaign worked appointed as the lead counter terrorism coordinator at DHS.

The regime is employing a form of reverse stochastic terrorism. It hopes, in its words and deeds, to inspire violence but the violence it wants is in service of a pretext it can use for a more serious crackdown. It desperately wants to stop using rubber bullets and start using real ones.

So a big part of the Project 2025 goals hinges on forcing women out of the workforce. The Heritage Foundation knows that women voters hold the most power in terms of sheer numbers. If they can push you out of the workforce, they can push you out of your voting rights.
Digging into the data of what's taking place with Black women unemployment and this graph is pretty damning.

You can see the EXACT month Black women's unemployment begins to splinter and that what hit us FIRST is now coming for all other women. This is #TheDoubleTax.
