What I noticed about this movie was Edgar brilliantly put his moments and shots in this without being like "Hey Look It's an Edgar Wright movie!!!!", which I find to be a keystone of a maturing filmmaker.

The movie he did with Idris Elba for Amazon I think is certainly proof of that. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but they had great chemistry together and it was ridiculous enough to be entertaining.

The Running Man is the type of movie that Hollywood just doesn't make anymore. I thought it was fun and full of Edgar Wright showing his strengths as a storyteller. I would love if this would lead to more mid-tier action movies that are just fun.
