Also Lee Pace continues to be an absolute fucking delight in anything he takes on. Dude is one of our best modern character actors.

I liked the original but only because of Schwarzenegger and Richard Dawson & because I recognized they only took the broad concept, so I looked at it as another Arnold flick

I feel like Scott Pilgrim was the last time that happened. Since then, his last three movies have been more focused on being films instead of "Edgar Wright Films" and I really appreciate that about them.

John Cena should do more of them, he's got the goods for DC television he can for sure carry a mediocre action flick (see also The Rock's entire career)

The Fall Guy is another one. Such a fun movie. I just wish it wasn't all saved for bankable stars.
