This is also what made machine politics in places like Chicago and NYC work so well.

Feed kids. Help folks get jobs. Keep lights and water on.

This was bread and butter for Dems and we’ve lost that.
But honestly, it is far easier to help than most people think.

There's a reason that the most dangerous thing about the Black Panther Party, according to the FBI, was not their armed activism, nor their political advocacy,

but the fact that they fed kids.

The Trump regime will arrest you in the middle of the night because you spoke your mind.

And federal agents in plain clothes who refuse to identify themselves will be the ones to do it.

If you think I'm being hyperbolic, watch this clip.
NEW: Family of Mahmoud Khalil just released footage of his arrest

“Stop resisting”
“He’s not resisting”

BREAKING: Senate just UNANIMOUSLY restored $1.1 billion for DC local govt that was eliminated

Why?

Because Senators of BOTH parties work in DC - and most have homes there - and none of them want to be in a hellhole

Now - try applying that same logic to THE REST OF THE COUNTRY

After that, they'll look into that time a whole group of Americans busted into the Capitol building, trying to hang the sitting vice president and House Speaker, assaulting a bunch of police officers in the process. Right?

Repeatedly pressed to explain what *Khalil* did to merit deportation, the Department of Homeland Security just has no response other than to say he's a scapegoat.

"Have you watched it on TV? It's pretty clear."
In which the Department of Homeland Security struggles to answer a very simple question: "Is any criticism of the United States government a deportable offense?"

everyone should listen to this in its entirety but journalists should listen to it multiple times. this is how you ask questions. you just keep asking simple, easily answerable stuff and the evasiveness becomes that much more glaring

Please read this if you consider yourself pro-choice and are ever inclined to say out loud that nobody wants an abortion or that nobody is pro-abortion
🙋‍♀️I consider abortion a good option, and a social good writ large! Pregnancy is not a punishment for contraceptive failure or contraceptive lack or contraceptive refusal.

I am pro-abortion, period. Same as I'm pro-chemotherapy, pro-insulin, pro-root canal, pro-pap-smear.
