I bought @panic.com's Nova a few months ago because it is great for my occasional html-ing and css-ing, and I would rather step on a rake than use VSCode or something like that. Nova is a genuine mac-assed app and it is *on sale for the next two weeks*. If you've been on the fence, now is the time.
🎆 NOVA is ON SALE! Nova is a truly special code editor—fast, beautiful, and feature-packed. We want more coders to check it out and maybe fall in love with it.
For two weeks, from September 30 until October 14, Nova is 40% OFF. Hurry!
Get it at ➡️ nova.app

Imagine being part of a floundering political establishment at historic lows in favorability, seeing this guy's absolutely infectuous energy, and deciding to try to stop it through an array of embarrassing media appearances and editorial blunders.

I love that former NYT public editor @sulliview.bsky.social is public-editing from the outside.
"With this made-up scandal, combined with the pre-election editorial, the Times looks like it’s on a crusade against Mamdani.

I see people saying stuff like "why criticize Substack but give other problematic platforms (like, say, YouTube) a pass?
Which is a fair point.
Thing is, YouTube is a quasi-monopoly for sharable video. Substack wants to have a newsletter monopoly but *isn't there yet*. And it should never happen.

I can’t believe I have purposely lived in New York State for 98% of my life, the other 2% solely to work for the Senate in D.C., paying taxes and voting and being a dedicated Democrat, to be betrayed like this by BOTH of my (D) U.S. Senators.
What a fool I’d be to support this party ever again.
