I found it. The Bari Weiss/CBS News town hall promo for feminism does indeed use a 1964 photo of Beatles fans.

my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides

This is my friend's cat. Its name is Cookie Swirl, and it disappeared in the American section of Charlotte airport on 11/10. We're asking for your help. She doesn't have any other socials, so if you can post it widely to see if anyone knows where it is. It's a little thing, but matters a lot to her.

Fax numbers were wrong.

Key records were no longer available online.

The insurer wouldn’t even give her access to her husband’s medical records.

A new Thanksgiving record for the family. Thanks to my wife and daughter, we have 8 pies, 2 pecan, 2 pumpkin, 1 cherry, 1 apple, and 2 chocolate cream. This is for 11 people, four of whom are under the age of 8. We like pie. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Watch as they get arrested one by one while protestors shout "Mother Power" and blow whistles the way it's done to warn that someone is being detained‼️

Are there Signal chat, caravans, and Facebook groups physically tracking DHS in Portland? I don’t even know how to follow them here, and I’m not really meeting anyone who has witnessed an abduction. At a total loss on how to find them in action.

Regardless of all there is to worry about right now, happy to report a great Halloween night. We live on a street that people from all over know to come to. We had 195-200 visit this year, our highest number since we moved in five years ago. Handing out candy is a yearly highlight for us.

"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)
