Can't stop thinking about this
A 19-year-old college student was about to board a flight to surprise her family for Thanksgiving when she was detained at Boston Logan International Airport and deported to Honduras two days later, her father and lawyer said on Sunday.

Some background on “Don’t Give Up the Ship” & why it’s a great battle cry for America at this moment (from someone who grew up on the shores of Lake Erie, and may just have this flag hanging around somewhere). 1/7

If you, like me, are so upset by even the "good" reactions to these terrible emails, this gets at why.

Sometimes I can laugh at the president or roll my eyes when he says something wild or ridiculous.

This one just makes me so sad. So deeply sad. I imagine some of you feel the same. Please recognize that, care for it and yourself. It’s rough out there.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Libraries purchase books. When you see a book at the library, it isn’t “free”

the library bought it.

which in turn means that the community bought it.

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.

"Should we be bad? Should we get a creme brulee? Let's split a creme brulee."
Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.
