Reposting this because I’ve been proven extremely fucking correct this weekend with the shutting down of calling out transphobia at the YP conference.
I know I've been on Your Party a lot this weekend but I feel like I need to explain why they as a party (and their reply guys) upset me, as an individual, and why I feel they are set up for failure on trans rights. Buckle up cuz this is gonna be a thread.

The UK is considering a policy that would effectively segregate trans people from society. It would bar trans people from "single sex spaces" even when they use the facility of their sex assigned at birth.
