Once again wanna point any people whose lives are being affected by this nonsense toward @essehouse.bsky.social and their Pee in Peace Program, which is distributing accessible toilet keys - not because you shouldn't be allowed in gendered spaces, but so that you can avoid hostile atmospheres.

Trans people are being challenged, misgendered and harassed whether they use a facility that aligns with their sex assigned at birth, or not. Many gender non conforming women also report more challenges in gendered spaces.

My son is on blockers legally from before the ban and we did everything they told us to do and now we are being threatened with social services if we don't allow them to "safely withdraw" medication. They admit that the impact will be "stark" for our kids but they are going to do it anyway.

If ICB Sussex get their own way in a matter of weeks and they force detransition, Olive may well take her life."

We have big news!

Following our first meeting, we are pleased to announce that we have 5 new trustees, a chairman of the board, and a newly-elected CEO.

All are donating their time on a voluntary basis, and we will share more details on who they are and what they bring to the table in due course.

We've done it!

Next step: applying to be a registered charity!
We are officially formalising ourselves as a charitable organisation this evening!

This will enable us to seek further funding, partner with other trans positive organisations, hold assets, and property, and ultimately further our aim to tangibly benefit the lives of trans people in the UK

Correct! This will embolden the bullies, and when combined with the lack of investigation into online occurrences of harassment, will effectively make it legal to do so, to anyone for any reason, so long as you successfully remain anonymous.

Write to your MP!

Thanks to our donors we are able to lift restrictions, and now distributing accessible toilet Keys *For Free* to anyone who fears their appearance or identity may lead to them experiencing hostilities at work or public facilities, across the UK.

(P.s. we still accept donations for them too!)

If you're waiting on a key, we apologise! Had some logistical issues (our posts office has been closed all week for refurb!) They will be sent today, and hopefully be with you by Tuesday at the latest.

Thanks for your patience! 🔑

After buying accessible toilet keys in small numbers pretty regularly - we have now found a bulk supplier that is 35% of the cost!.

This will help us assist even more people on low incomes for free - and enables your generous donations to go even further to help provide for excluded identities.

How could we forget to mention our Pee-in-Peace Program?!

We have also distributed dozens of accessible toilet keys for a nominal cost to people who are finding anti-trans hostilities are affecting their ability to use public facilities in the UK, and for free to those on low incomes.

It's not the law, but if you need the job more than you need the fight (and cant afford to take them to court) then we suggest getting an accessible toilet key. You can get them on amazon, or if you are on low income, we will send you one for free here: www.essehouse.co.uk/pip-program

As a victim of a transphobia motivated hate-crime on more than one occasion, I can't stress enough how important I believe it is that those at risk of hostilities from the anti-trans panic get themselves a way to avoid a difficult situation being inflicted upon them. Stay safe. 🔑

We have had many people, cis and trans, contact us for a key because they are worried about being targeted by anti-trans hostilities when using public facilities...
