The most charitable reading is that your savings become crypto’s bailout, you eventually get made whole by FDIC on deposits below FDIC caps — but the bill effectively forces FDIC to cover crypto without paying insurance…& you might get screwed anyway if FDIC no longer exists 👇

Curfew was set for 8pm.

LAPD started corralling protestors more than an hour before, not letting them leave, so that they could be arrested for violating curfew.

Oh, and all nearby Metro stops were closed, so even if they tried, they COULDN'T leave.

For people with darker skin injured at protests, and the lawyers representing them:
The difficulty of diagnosing and photographing bruises in victims with darker skin is a consistent factor not only in delayed diagnosis and treatment, but also in smaller settlements in lawsuits.

This morning, I’m thinking about the children in Los Angeles waking up on Father’s Day wondering if they’ll ever see their dad again.

We’ve heard reports of fathers being snatched from car washes, Home Depots, and swap meets.

This doesn’t make L.A. safer.

These raids must end.

There a reason the protests are being covered differently from the Tea Party

The Tea Party was a front for the wealth class that owns the media and were used to demonize necessary reform

These protests were democratic and populist, which the wealth class and its media opposes

Hope that helps
