I mean let’s just be very clear. Ryan Mountcastle has demonstrated for years that he can play 1B at a high level. Coby Mayo showed positive signs for a month.
this argument has always been dumb to me. if you’re playing your best players, it’s Mounty! done!

This isn’t disrespect to Mayo, either. He made improvements at 1B but in my opinion, I don’t think one good month was enough of a deciding factor to hand him the starting job on a competitive team. His potential & years of control make him just as tradeable as Mounty & could net us a better return.

I tend to agree with this. It certainly would take generations if future Democratic and Anti-Trump Republican leaders continue the Merrick Garland/Joe Biden approach and follow the advice of George McClellan-style Democratic consultants and pundits. But it doesn't have to be this way.
I pushback on it’s going to take generations to undo whatever stupid thing Trump is doing analysis. It won’t if people (white people) decide they give a fuck about a functional government.

The teenager told officers he was a U.S. citizen, but an officer broke the car’s driver’s side window and detained him. In a video, the boy can be heard telling an officer that he is a citizen, to which the officer replies, “Get out of the car” and “I don’t care.”
