The next Dems president will have to execute something like a counter-coup to have a reasonable chance at governing. Honestly Musk's plan gives a good starting point - key agencies to immediately seize are GSA (keys to the buildings), treasury payments system (paychecks) and US Marshalls Service

Every American should read this ACLU lawsuit about what is happening in Los Angeles and California. It is the stuff of dystopian nightmares. This is not immigration enforcement. It is positively stuffed with videos and articles documenting racial profiling on a scale unseen since Jim Crow.

ICE arrested Job Garcia while he was running errands in LA. Job is a US citizen, a scholar, and a brilliant photographer. He’s also my friend. But none of that should determine his humanity.

ICE must release Job Garcia immediately.

do not install any app from Facebook or Meta on any device. Ideally avoid installing ANY social media app. Login through a browser.

I highly doubt Facebook is the only company pulling this shit

“Localhost tracking” explained. It could cost Meta 32 billion.

California representatives did a check in where migrants were being detained. They found no beds, no food and no water. Children were among the detained.

Remember this iconic photo from Ferguson? This is Edward Crawford, throwing back a tear gas canister to protect some nearby kids.

Like many identified Ferguson protesters and organizers, he was "found dead" a couple years later and neither the cops nor the media will ever investigate.

I think we’ve reached a boiling point when it comes to ICE.

Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it.

Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.

When OptumRx dropped coverage of his $66 inhaler, Cole couldn’t afford the new price.
5 days later, he died from a severe asthma attack—with no inhaler.
He paid with his life.

I have yet to meet a Trump voter who isn’t racist, in some way.
There are plenty of people who voted Trump because they liked his racist agenda and that can be true side by side with the fact that one of the reasons their campaign was successful was because of propaganda that should be illegal but isn’t

These people were following the law and went to check in with immigration like they are supposed to.

This woman's immigration case was dismissed, which made her immediately undocumented.

So ICE took her into custody.

The air conditioning was off in the back of the truck.

These are straight up gestapo tactics from ICE. They’re going after Democrats trying to scare them or provoke a response to justify a further crackdown.

The fascist dipshits of ICE are already maneuvering to use the "just following orders" excuse
“When they finished with the search there was a male officer standing outside who looked confused. He asked me why I was here to which I told him what had happened,” she said.

“He told me, ‘Wow. You should not be here right now, you have Trump to thank for that though.’”
Absolutely horrifying news article about it

@slotkin.senate.gov Elissa Slotkin is willing to sell out our financial system’s stability and, in part, our sovereignty for a measly $10 million.
