How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Feels like the Democrats should maybe put up a website showing all of the Trump Flight Cancellations?
United starting to post its Trump Flight Cancelations for Friday and the #CursedRoute is taking a 50% hit.

“Your flight is canceled due to FAA-mandated airspace restrictions during the government shutdown.“

just because the polite young fascist asked how your grandkids are doing does not make them any less fascist or dangerous

the Senate particularly is worse for this because they all pride themselves on decorum, whereas the House Republican caucus is mostly made up of shit-flinging monkeys
the number of elected dems who actually understand the republican party is shockingly small. rather than giving them better insight, knowing and working alongside republicans has blinded them. it’d be fascinating if it wasn’t such an existential threat

I think some people have trouble seeing fascism as anything other than 1940s Germany.

But I think 'people going to a comic convention needing to have a plan in case the government's goons show up to disappear people' is a pretty good demonstration of what it can look like in 2025.

pretty telling comment here. Britain and America absolutely did feed and clothe Nazi and Japanese POWs during WWII. and they provided food and supplies to occupied territories as the war was won. the Hunger Plan by contrast was a Nazi thing

Got connected to a person who solved it in less than an hour. Feel like this is the new norm?

Border Patrol says he was at the red mark, 65 feet south of the border, when he "made an abrupt starboard turn and struck the port bow of the Coast Guard small-boat," causing him to capsize.

He says that's ridiculous, he was in Canadian waters and was going to shore to talk when they hit him.

I am deadly serious that he should be criminally investigated by a future administration for what he did in the J.G.G. case.
Bove, 44, is on track to be confirmed as soon as Monday to a lifetime seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.

Put another way, a guy who's been using his DOJ job to seek retribution against Trump's perceived political enemies is on his way to becoming a decadeslong federal judge. 🇺🇸

Powell has been one of the unsung heroes of the past few years and deserves better than this.
So does our economy, which Trump is trying to turn into a Venezuela or a Turkey by politicizing the central bank.
yikes -- Powell shakes his head as Trump rips into him for the cost of Fed building renovations. Powell denies some of the claims Trump is making.

Sometimes I think about the young man whose door I canvassed late last October who told me he couldn’t vote for Harris because of Gaza. I explained the likely outcome of staying home or voting for Trump, but he was not persuaded. His mind was made up.
Something many do not know: The Biden administration engaged in a public and private pressure campaign to compel Netanyahu to reject the ethnic cleansing calls of his far-right allies. It worked. Then Biden lost, the pressure stopped and Trump reversed everything.

Without Hulk Hogan, Peter Thiel would not have been so effective in media-suppression

Without Peter Thiel, we wouldn't know today's Musk or JDV

Without Musk, we wouldn't have DOGE (and would still have Park Service, State Dept, NIH, etc)

So we note Hulk Hogan's passing, as we might Roy Cohn's.
Real discussion:
CNN: Hey Dave it's CNN. Could you come on to talk about the death of Hulk Hogan

Me: Hulk Hogan was a racist scab and a liar. He hated unions, Black people, and the truth and that's why he loved Donald Trump. What time do you want me?

CNN: Great! Well.... so we'll keep looking
