Is Posobiec suggesting that Trump is warning that people against him deserve violence against them?
what a confusing time to be a piece of shit

O Holy Night (with the “for the slave is our brother” line that southerners leave out) and White Christmas
What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

I will probably always adore "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christian.

And "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for secular.

My grandparents told stories about their neighbor who bragged about never changing a diaper as the father of six. The other “greatest generation” dads were not impressed by his parenting.
Matt Walsh’s “As a man, I have never changed a diaper, and if you have you’re spiritually gay” take is a pretty apt summation of the New Right’s stance on men’s duty to take basic care of their family.

Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

This reminds me of when Todd Stroger couldn’t pronounce “obstetrical deserts.” And he was just the Cook County board president, not POTUS.
Trump: "Asceda -- well, let's see how we say that. Ascenem -- enophin. Acetaminophen. Is that okay?"

And now law enforcement is in the position of either following the evidence, even if it contradicts Trump’s “conclusions” and makes him mad, or validate his predetermined narrative no matter what
Trump lying in an Oval Office address that Charlie Kirk’s killing was caused by people comparing him and his organization to Nazis—lying because he has no idea, but declared it anyway—pairs interestingly with some prominent Trump fans saying they hope this can be their Reichstag Fire.

It’s hard not to feel foolish that I believed the people who taught me that character mattered when it was Clinton in the White House.
The fact that Republicans are unfazed that Donald Trump is giving special treatment to a woman who ran this country’s most notorious pedophile ring on behalf of its most notorious serial pedophile is the latest sign of the GOP’s complete moral rot.

I think the name of the class was Postcolonial Novels taught by Dr. Bob Boyer.
What was your favorite early clas NOT in your eventual major. Mine was Ethnomusicology: an introduction to folk music.
I invariably get, "Ooh anthro that was my favorite class/cool professor" from people I meet. I tend to think soms of it is our outré material, being willing to talk "taboo" subjects in a cross-cultural context.

Ironically MY favorite class was probably Geology 101...

Pivot to blathering about something else!
Bartiromo: "We are waiting any moment now to get the jobs number for the month of June. The expectations call for the numbers to be up 95,000. Right now seeing the number -- actually, uh, showing a decline in jobs, uh, down 33,000, uh."

Younger people will be shocked to hear this, but way back when I grew up, anytime you saw a movie where some government official stopped someone on the street and demanded to see their identification papers, that was supposed to let you know they were the *bad* guys.

My great grandmother worked as a seamstress when she immigrated to Chicago from Poland as a teenager, and again when she was widowed and had to move her five kids from their farm in Canada back to Chicago. Under Trump’s regime, her legal status would be stripped and she and her children deported.
this new directive will heavily affect garment workers, as they are based in these cities
Trump declares war on cities

“We must expand efforts to detain & deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as LA, Chicago, & NY, where Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, & other Cities, are core of the Dem Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base”

Once again, I wish the “fun” class I took in college on the history of apocalyptic movements wasn’t so relevant to politics today.
A Vance Boelter w/ similar educational timeline as the Minnesota assassin wrote online that he'd attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas. I've been there. Here's a quote from founder on wall in lobby.

For the record:

The Confederates fought a war against the United States to defend the institution of slavery.

Period.
