Stories about NIH grant cuts were something I was actively avoiding reading because as a former NIH-funded scientist, I would be too enraged to function. But at least there’s SOME hope, along with lots of work to be done. 1/

Getting to a #NoKings protest when your preschooler is not into crowds nor loud AV systems - have lunch at the local waffle shop (first time sitting at the counter!) then just “happen” to pass by City Hall on the way home. 😂 Represented public servants in Alameda with my @nteu335.bsky.social shirt!

Using the American flag to symbolic effect at protests against the Musk/Trump regime isn’t appealing to fascism, and it is incredibly counterproductive and stupid to believe to is.
