No it’s important to listen to this. Because then you understand that many of them will do ANYTHING to keep power. Remember Musk got involved in the 2024 election after saying to Tucker “if she wins” I am definitely going to prison.

So we need to move knowing that nothing is off the table for them.
Steve Bannon: If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.

The Regime's goal is to grind everyone down. Plain & simple. Our goal is to refuse this by taking turns to fight where and how we can. When one group needs to bow out, then another group needs to step in and so on. We don't all have to do everything. We can all do something though. Stay in the fight

Tips break down into two main areas:

I went to a friend's sleepover birthday party and he had Myst and it freaked all of us out a little bit but it freaked this one kid out way more than the rest of us. His mom picked him up early and when we woke up to find him gone we were convinced that Myst had "got him"
What was the first video game that scared you?

It doesn't have to be a horror game. Maybe you didn't even play it -- plenty of ads freaked me out as a kid.

Some people are still super mad that they didn’t get to orchestrate a mass infection event.

Because that is the only possible lens through which the covid vaccines could be seen as a failure.

Now he's running a C.D.C. task force reviewing them.

My hill: kids are naturally creative and artistic. You give kids paper and something to draw with and you will get the wildest shit ever created. It's an actual tragedy & horrifically anti-human to be shoving AI on them and encouraging them to stunt that essential part of themselves.
Consumer-facing "A.i." in education is evil and if you push it on kids to make "art" you're hurting them.
I'm so so so furious at the future creativity and artistry that AI is taking away from all of us by convincing kids nothing is worth doing on their own

the fear of negative space these people have is so incredible. the fear of breathing, the fear of thinking for a single second. everything must be filled in, everything must be certain. oh they love fascism bc it tells them what to think at all times!
You know that classic Edward Hopper painting evoking isolation and despair? We used AI to make it look terrible for no reason

Hi, I worked at USAID. 👋

Airdrops are universally acknowledged as probably the worst and least efficient way to get aid to people. You airdrop when you a) want to want to so something but can’t, or b) you don’t want to do anything but want to look like you are.

Yup. And part of the freakout is that — unlike Cuomo — Mamdani is not Netanyahu’s lawyer. Moreover, Mamdani may actually hold Netanyahu to the standards of international law and treat him as a war criminal, which is how he should be treated.
The Dem political establishment is not freaking out because of Mamdani’s modest policy proposals or even so much his identity as DemSoc.

They are freaking out because he is NOT compromised by involvement in networks of corruption like they are—and those networks are freaking out about losing power.
