Texas school district confirms that a former school board trustee let an Evangelical film crew into a local high school without district permission or parental consent to film and interview students for an upcoming documentary: “God, Jesus, Trump” and the “WOKE agenda” in US schools

In July NBC found only 4 high level Trump officials who would endorse him. One of them, Mark Meadows, was up to his ears in the J6 failed coup, and another, Richard Grenell, endorsed German neoNazis while serving as ambassador in Germany. By contrast former defense officials are especially scathing.
Dozens served in Trump’s Cabinet. Four say he should be re-elected.
Several of Trump's former Cabinet members are coy about whether they support his bid to return to the White House. Others outright oppose it.

We have such an invented idea that cruelty is something done begrudgingly, in spite of someone’s true intentions. I think it works to preserve a kind of innocence for humanity. But it’s really not the reality of power and domination.

Of course RFK Jr. is hyping Aaron Rodgers as a potential, uh, running mate.

His campaign is a grift whose primary marks are young, insecure men who turn to conspiracy theories to soothe their fragile egos.

An analysis.

Why?

Because Orban offers a model of Christian nationalist authoritarianism that Trumpists plan to emulate. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/make-ameri...
