Folks! Tomorrow I am recording a pod with the great Cory Doctorow. We're going to talk about enshittification, and specifically, how it might affect consumer-facing energy management software (as in your car, or your house).

Got any questions?

Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally is intended to evoke the 1939 Nazi rally, and you can tell that because every single thing that they are doing is evoking the 1939 Nazi rally.

Again, they had hopes she would be one of them: far right tradwife pop country icon, instead she ditched them to move to LA and do pop music. On a visceral level, she reminds every MAGA freak in exurban St Louis of their daughter who stopped talking to them after she went to college.
My favorite current meme among brain-worms conservatives is that Taylor Swift's popularity is a astroturf deep state psyop, which requires forgetting how long she's been a star and believing that some CIA desk jockey could create something as popular as Taylor Swift.

Love how this guy, whose views are garden-variety conservative MLK trolling, gets a fawning profile in the NYT solely because he's a Black conservative—and he's of course totally fine with that, despite it being antithetical to his stated principles, because he doesn't believe them anyway.
A day after I demonstrated how Coleman Hughes amplified the lies about George Floyd’s death churned out by a nutty, conspiratorial “documentary” — making him either complicit or a dupe . . . he gets a flattering, book-hawking profile in the NYT.

Jesus Christ, these Vince McMahon texts. He’s like if an Andrew Tate-listening 12-year-old had infinite wealth and power. Put a jail on top of a jail and throw him under both.
