BREAKING: DOJ will oppose a request for class certification — to create a class-action lawsuit — in the Maryland CASA case challenging Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship after the Supreme Court ended universal injunctions and said class actions remain available for broad relief.
Rosenberg says DOJ will oppose the motion for class certification.

If the Senate's budget is enacted, millions will lose health insurance, millions will fall into poverty, and the national debt will increase by $3.3T.
All of this to provide a major tax cut mainly to the rich and big corporations.

Still not over the fact that Brad Lander is the serving NYC Comptroller, rather a demanding position, AND a mayoral candidate, also a demanding FT job—& he found time to go to the courts to tell folks their rights & walk them past danger & the only reason we know is because ICE assaulted him.
gotta say, Brad Lander's really walked the walk in these past weeks and it's not something I'll soon forget

Cuomo spent the whole campaign trashing the Democratic Party while Mamdani never shied away from being a Democrat. For both centrists and leftists it's an important lesson: if you want to win a party primary you should outwardly like the party.
