This is essentially the “same sex marriage bans affect both straight and gay people” equally argument, but even more nefarious that cis people still get access to hormone therapy and chest surgery

The Supreme Court ruled that the Equal Protection Clause does not protect everybody equally. Instead it upheld the Tennessee law that seeks to eradicate trans kids.

Yes. In a sane media environment, the bathroom ban would be the end of anyone treating 'gender critical feminists' as anything other than a hate group. It's a straightforwardly bigoted policy that imposes an insane 'solution' to a nonexistent problem.

• answer whether they have trans people’s best interest at heart

• listen to actual trans people instead 🧵
