This is essentially the “same sex marriage bans affect both straight and gay people” equally argument, but even more nefarious that cis people still get access to hormone therapy and chest surgery

"what is a woman?" (and companion questions "what is sex?" etc) really is the trans rights version of "is a fetus alive" -- the answer doesn't matter and has the effect of reorienting discussion away from the wellbeing of the trans person, or woman, at hand

Yes. In a sane media environment, the bathroom ban would be the end of anyone treating 'gender critical feminists' as anything other than a hate group. It's a straightforwardly bigoted policy that imposes an insane 'solution' to a nonexistent problem.
