Terrible week. Car rear ended Monday morning because of twat tailgating who drove into me when I braked for kids crossing road. Letter from school for swearing on school grounds for aforesaid incident. My mum had delirium most of week then was admitted with sepsis yesterday. Need to catch a break.

Honestly, people calling creators the "petite bourgeoisie" makes me want to snap.
We're working folk. And we work really hard. For next to nothing.

My mum has delirium again being woken every 30mins to be asked who you are and why you are in her house is not a restful experience 😭 neither is having to say her husband died 30 years ago & she is in pain because she’s terminally ill. Difficult conversations I thought I wouldn’t have to have again

Currently reading @kathyburke.bsky.social’s book and it’s so fucking good. Easily one of my favourite ever memoirs. I know this sounds hyperbolic but books like these are vital to documenting the lives of working class people. They *are* our social history. This just happens to be one of the best.
