Across the country, Starbucks workers are on an Unfair Labor Practice strike for a fair first contract, and I know which side I’m on. Baristas make Starbucks an extraordinarily wealthy company. They are entitled to their fair share of that wealth and to benefits and fair treatment on the job.

My brain is in a spot where I have to click “don’t show things like this” on Facebook after I intentionally click on the thing and watch the whole video. If only my brain algorithm was as easily trainable as tech algos.

But then he was elected *again* in 1916.
But died less than a year after he didn’t win his 1918 next reelection campaign.

Wilson's win means an end to heavy-handed corporate patronage in the mayor's office going back to 2013, a lineage running from the serial child predator who resigned in disgrace to the mayor who inherited all his donors & teargassed the city, to the guy who supported both of them to the bitter end
