So, what needs to happen to these vandals going into all these USG offices, locking people physically out, locking them out of computer systems, connecting unsecured computers to classified systems, etc, is that they need to be arrested & charged with whatever makes sense given their actions.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

The long-running ideological war on libraries, education, and government workers is not separate from AI boosterism. It is the same ideological war on human knowledge and expertise. In some cases AI is being used to directly supercharge this effort:

If the sub stays wrapped, you weren't attacked.
If the sandwich don’t split, you must acquit
Defense says that the officer's testimony was "very questionable" because he said the sandwich both exploded in spray of mustard and onions and also landed in its wrapper on the ground.

Shorter Johnson: If we don't hurt poor people, Democrats won't give in.
BASH: Even Hawley says you should move money around to feed people. Why not consider it?

JOHNSON: Because if you deviate from the goal of reopening the entire govt, Schumer & the radicals will continue to play games. If you do just part of this, it will reduce the pressure for them to do all of it

I guess the thing that can be said about this is, not every state/city has a min wage that high, so while it wouldn't raise the effective min wage literally everywhere, it would help those whose min wages are the lowest, who most need help, reducing disparity, hopefully w/o backfiring electorally.
This is the perfect example. A $15 minimum wage is great but it's already the status-quo policy in a bunch of cities — and likely isn't high enough in many more!

How are you going to inspire people to vote for you with a policy that's already stale?
Getting behind the $15 minimum wage now that it's far below the defacto minimum in every major city is extremely funny.

Americans would be wise to understand what the Stasi was. The East German secret police "sought to infiltrate every institution of society and every aspect of daily life," with files on 6 million citizens, more than 1/3rd of the population. The Trump regime is building its version of the Stasi. 1/2

In social movement studies, we talk about how marches and protests expand the threshold of acceptable risk so that people take more and bigger social risks IN PUBLIC, EN MASSE. This is extremely important for the bourgeois white folks holding signs and building social rapport.
Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.

Troops to Portland? Illegal and absurd. But the absurdity is the point. Trump policy is to ignore real threats to US security coming from abroad and use the armed forces to pursue imaginary threats from within, thereby creating an atmosphere suitable for personal rule. (1/2)

Gonna say this very very very slowly

The main issue with putting your name on a protest list

is not whether the government has your name

It is you providing information about where you are/will be

That is *legally* actionable
