Hey all you gamers claiming to "want shorter games made by fewer people who are paid more to work less" here's your chance to put your $15 where your mouth is: a spooky & elegiac exploration game made by ex-Bethesda & Ubi devs. It's excellent. Buy it & prove there's a market for games like this!

I don't understand how any senators can be ignorant of how mad people are, but there might be a chance to sway them still. If your senator is one of the Democrats voting w/ the Republicans (or your senator is a Republican), CALL THEM.

in my opinion, there is no excuse for a democratic system not to weight all citizens equally. Everyone should vote, every vote should count the same, and systemic care should be given to ensure all voters are positioned to make rational choices. None of these things are true in America.

Cowardly fools. Damned us all for nothing. Didn’t get naught but a cheap song. If they were gonna cave they could’ve just done it at the start and saved folks some pain. But now they did nothing and got nothing and wasted time.

"We just need to program it so that it doesn't lie."

Except that's impossible. In order to know whether it's lying, it would have to understand what it's saying, but it cannot do that nor will never be able to.

A lovely write-up about one of the most influential artists of the 00s internet artpunk era
It wasn't deep. It didn't have much to say. But Xiao Xiao inspired millions to try Flash animation for themselves.

A Beijing artist made this series -- and turned stick fights into a phenomenon. We're exploring why and how he did it:
