Dumb question: not a lot of pre modern revolutions are there? Just a lot of conquests. Arguably Rome against the kings but even that's kind of a coup

I've said before that the GOP and the Republic cannot both survive and we are far from the kind of reckoning we need about the fact the party in power and one of only two major parties in the country is outright hostile to the country itself.
Something the US needs to accept too is that without a large-scale correction imposing consequences on a large number of people, the crisis of governance here will continue indefinitely
