For every $1 we put into our son's edu fund, we put $3 into our daughter's. Some day our son may say it's not fair. But, for her a basic four-year edu won't cut it. She'll either need to be a MD like her mom, or a lawyer, but we will instill this importance in her so she's never dependent on a man.
If I was to get a divorce from my husband I wouldn't be able to live by myself. I know for a fact I would either eat like shit and barely make it, or need to get a roommate. No way I can live on my own on a receptionist pay.
