I supported Mark Carney and am quite disappointed he’s abandoned his “values” regarding climate change. However I just can’t see it really happening. Maybe he has amendments at the ready to entice May to vote with the Liberals? Maybe he’s looking to lure a couple more moderate Cons & go green after?

This is exactly what needs to be done. Families have been declining in size since the 1950s yet home square footage has exploded. I listened to a podcast today saying homes globally average 700 square foot per person to live. Anything larger is wasteful spending. We need a major culture shift

I’d much prefer to not drive but when it takes an hour by bus or 12 minutes by car, it’s hard to justify.

I think they had too much time to think and really process the possibility. Plus an entire country getting hopeful. And it spooked them. Whereas Seattle has been going pedal to the metal with no time to think. Now they have all the pressure. At home. Time to get a tad antsy.
