My latest single, a call to action. Will we really allow our shared tears to fall wasted on a wasteland of dead-ends? No. Nature has the tools to heal and WE ARE NATURE.

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

Monbiot explaining the shift of the Overton Window. What is becoming normalised is incredibly disturbing.
No sudden rupture is now required for the far right to take power in this country. For what we're seeing is a steady normalisation of extremists by the Conservative and Labour Parties, BBC, Telegraph, Mail and others. A shift once considered unthinkable beings to look acceptable, even inevitable.🧵

It’s been a while since I’ve woken up from an anxiety dream, and then promptly forgotten what happened in the dream for it to be immediately replaced with odd jobs I need to do soon.

Thanks brain. Could you have just sent a list? Unnecessary nervous system freak out for a reminder to put a wash on.

Article & the press release are full of misleading information on a paper which is worrying anyway.

We need research into & implementation of BIO-remediation, not "artificial" "devices" that emulate plants. Stop re-inventing the wheel & learn from nature WITH nature.

P.S that pic is a pea shoot.

This is infuriating. What is the point of a Marine Protected Area if trawlers are allowed to keep ploughing it?
Yet again, the government has succumbed to commercial lobbying.

I'll be speaking at the @defendourjuries.bsky.social press conference today, ahead of the pro-Palestine protests this weekend. Already, seven of its spokespeople have been pre-emptively arrested, in a gross infringement of their right to free speech and free assembly. This is what police states do.

Saw a post I won’t reference saying art is something only folks born into money have time for.

I am a data point of one but say that’s not true.

Advice I give to early career artists: live as cheaply as possible, in a place with other creatives around. Be stingy so you can be free to fail.

So often we fixate on one species, or one element of a complex interconnected web, and don’t get me wrong; trees are beautiful, but willynilly planting them is not what will sequester the most carbon.

Sad part of discovering albums from the 1970s is finding new wonderful artists and finding out that they died recently, like Ellen McIlwaine. Huge resurgence of love for this era, I could speculate the multitude of reasons why, but consistently so many 'forgotten' artists majoritively talented women

Monday morning is the perfect morning to listen to the whole of Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part 1. Real affinity with 70s albums at the moment!

But I have been sidetracked from editing The Monkees cover I did over the weekend scrolling Discogs for the album... hazards of the job!
