We need a societal understanding that too much power is dangerous. Wealth taxes and trust busting are a matter of public safety. The rich and powerful are a threat to themselves and others.

It’s not just that Trump is personally a rapist, though there’s lots of credible evidence to suggest that he is. It’s that he is promoting a fundamentally pro-rape ideology, and that the permissiveness for rape and entitlement to rape that are core to his worldview are central to his appeal for men.

I was talking to someone a couple days ago and we realized that for both of us our safest relationships were people we met on apps and our abusive relationships were all with people we were friends with first. This runs really counter to conventional wisdom

I got through a tough anniversary by being extremely busy hanging out with folks and it worked but now I am very, very tired.

Nobody else gets a vote on whether something "should" be a trigger for us. Hell, even WE don't get a vote on that.
