So, I accidentally went on a date with a Nazi this past weekend.

No, I did not know she was a Nazi going into the date.

Then, the next morning:

“United's long-haul international flying and our hub-to-hub flying will not be impacted by [the FAA’s] schedule reduction direction... Instead, we will focus our schedule reductions on regional flying and domestic mainline flights that do not travel between our hubs.”

i want a netflix show that's just sliwa meeting bodega cats while telling the camera about all the times the mob tried to kill him
I look forward to Sliwa's long tenure as the Special Parade Assistant in the Mamdani administration, where he can affirm each and every parade's right to exist

“politically correct sirens” sounds like an all-women punk group led by neko case
Trump: "You hear those sirens going off? That's good. A good sound. That means they either got the bad guy or they're gonna stop the bad guy. You didn't hear that sound bc nobody wanted to do anything. Listen to the beauty of that sound. That's the real deal sirens, not politically correct sirens"

the episode of letterkenny where the hicks and natives team up to beat the shit out of some nazis
Putting more positive on the ole TL: what’s a moment in a piece of media that took you from “ok this is pretty good” to “oh shit this is GREAT”?

Here are some of mine:
-The entire finale of s1 Severance
-“Satisfied” in Hamilton
-The end of Act 1 in Cyberpunk 77

I’ve spent about 2-3 hours each day on calls or chats with my US gov friends. Here’s an anonymized recap of what’s going on.

First, I am so very sorry that they are living our last year at Twitter. I never wanted to think about that time again, and I hope my advice is helpful. 1/

Is there a condiment or similar pantry ingredient that if you see it in someone's house, instantly confers legitimacy on their cooking?

Wow, it's almost like Trump is enacting a radical, incredibly unpopular agenda that he never mentioned or explicitly denied during the campaign, and the Democrats and press are so mentally committed to servile accommodationism that they're pretending he has a sweeping mandate for that agenda!
I didn't anticipate the public health freezes. Did anyone? Was anyone in Trump world boasting about this ahead of time, like they did everything else? Stopping government from doing things in our system is much easier than making it do things you want, even things like banning a vaccine.
