ngl I've always been in favor of gun control but this is a real strong point in favor that American gun culture was about southerner's right to violently resist reconstruction, not self-defense or fighting tyranny.

I would be very surprised if a full accounting in the future didn't reveal more than one mass grave at the detention centers. If they're behaving this way in public, what's happening out of sight must be many times more brutal.
