I have cancelled my Nitro and am actively researching alternatives to @discord.com . It really is an ideal platform but I will not be forced to expose more of my data. My hope is they will change course but in case I have a whole community trusting us to make a good decision.

It’s a lot like this place. #bluesky doesn’t work for me sometimes when I’m at home because it thinks I’m in a different state that requires this verification. I will just stop using this app if that continues. And if @discord.com new rules become an inconvenience me, I’ll have to be out.
I am not going to look for discord alternatives because there are 6000 of them that nobody can agree on i would much rather just make it hell on earth for their PR team until they cave again

I got my first job the week I turned 16 to help my single mom with our family income. This is a slap in the face to teens who either choose to work or are in a situation where they need to work. Exploiting minors for their labor is not a good look in my opinion. Equal pay for equal work.

Guys, dont immediately jump ship. Complain on Discords forums. Spam their emails. Make noise. We'll never tackle the overlying problem if we just keep jumping ship.
Discord is easy to bully out of doing shit. We've made them stop doing NFT shit. We can stop them taking ID's. :)
