This is the same guy who had ballot language denied 5 TIMES in the past few months for being misleading. I don’t trust this man further than I can throw him. This is something to keep an eye on 👀

I got my first job the week I turned 16 to help my single mom with our family income. This is a slap in the face to teens who either choose to work or are in a situation where they need to work. Exploiting minors for their labor is not a good look in my opinion. Equal pay for equal work.
Bill would lower minimum wage for minors in Missouri
Sen. Joe Nicola wants to protect small businesses and teens by establishing a separate minimum wage for minors.

I don’t believe a system that allows 5% of the voters to defeat what majority of the voters choose to pass is a fair system.

I was never a debate kid, but I am an educator so it was a treat to join the debate class at Republic High School to chat and answer their questions about my thoughts on Missouri politics today!

FIVE TIMES in recent months. This is not the way it is supposed to work and our Republican lawmakers are intentionally meddling with our initiative petition process over and over again. #moleg #mogov

My district shifted 9 points last election. After seeing what has been happening in these recent state elections I believe we can go all the way and flip it this round.

I would be forever grateful for your help becoming the 4th Dem State House Rep in the lower half of Missouri.

A periodic reminder that MO residents in 5 districts currently have no House Representation.

House District 95 in particular has now been vacant for over a year

This is how the organizations on the right are advertising swapping income taxes for sales taxes to the people.

Notice how there is ZERO mention of any new or additional taxes. They don’t seem to want to talk about that part.

The top priority for republican lawmakers this year is to eliminate the source of 2/3 of our revenue. We cannot support state programs and provide appropriate salaries if we do not have money to do so.

My rep/opponent advertises on his FB page that he hosts a 5:00 Facebook live the final Sunday of the month.

Well he didn’t show up last night. No explanation on his page. Just didn’t show up. And this isn’t the first time.

As a candidate for state rep I try to keep my focus on Missouri but all I can think about is Minnesota as another citizen was murdered by our government.

Republican lawmakers in MO claim Missourians aren’t smart enough to know what they are voting for. If they aren’t reading their own bills to make sure they are correct, they shouldn’t be submitting them…

Fantastic MO politics update going into the weekend!

The MO Supreme Court has struck down SB 22, also known as the “Let Politicians Lie” Act!
January 23, 2026 at 10:15 PM
So they want no referendums at the municipal level either. Got it. Heads up Springfield MO
January 22, 2026 at 2:14 PM
I was sad that I was unable to be there today, but I am so moved to see so many Missourians joining together in Jefferson City to have their voices heard 💙❤️

Missouri voters have spoken. This will undoubtedly waste more time and stall progress during a year our state is facing massive budget issues. We still have poorly funded schools and teachers, terrible roads, poor access to healthcare, declining revenue….

MOScholars was originally designed to be funded by donations. It even says so on their website: “student scholarships are funded with private donations leveraged by state tax credits”, and the bill is covered with the word “contributions”.
Proposals to expand Missouri private school voucher program meet tight budget • Missouri Independent
Missouri lawmakers seeking to expand the state's education voucher program, MOScholars, must grapple with budgetary restrictions.

REMINDER: The only reason #Missouri Republican lawmakers are putting eliminating the income tax before voters is because they can’t expand sales taxes without our permission so they are sneakily combining them.

Did you know #Missouri currently has the 12th highest sales tax?

If R lawmakers are successful in eliminating the income tax, it is estimated that sales taxes will need to raise up to 19% in some areas of the state to make up for the revenue loss
January 16, 2026 at 4:35 PM
Just a periodic reminder that it is estimated to end up being a tax increase on majority of Missourians if the Republican lawmakers are successful in eliminating the income tax and replacing it with sales taxes.

You know what is a really bad idea for balancing a budget when you need to cut $1.5 billion in expenses?

Willfully cutting $9 billion of revenue because the millionaires/billionares want you to.
