This is an incredibly important graph and post which a large part of the climate science community is intentionally ignoring and trying to hide.

Our climate is in a much more dangerous state than main stream climate scientists are willing to acknowledge.

Before the rollout of the polio vaccine in the 1950s, the disease paralyzed or killed more than 500,000 people worldwide every year.

The darker chapters of public health history do not seem to faze anti-vaccine activists, who are now downplaying polio.

Framing the promotion of deadly disinformation as a “challenge scientific orthodoxy” is certainly a choice.
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

#auspol, what's up with this? Given the choice between restricting my child from using social media and restricting gambling ads - I absolutely choose restricting gambling ads as the priority. It doesn't seem like priorities are not well aligned with the social benefits.
Gambling ruins lives. It is absolutely unacceptable that the Albanese government will continue to choose vested interests over the wellbeing of Australians and hide behind a watered-down policy - if they ever introduce one. We need action on gambling harms now.

No sugar-coating this news

Heatwaves will become more frequent and severe if net zero emissions are delayed.

Delaying net zero until 2050 will result in heatwave events at least once yearly
