My fav Shakespeare thing is how Henry IV part 2 starts with Majel Barrett Roddenberry saying, "Previously on Henry IV..." and there's a clip reel ending with Hotspur yelling "FIRE EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT."

Then Majel's voice: "And now, the conclusion."

The “google is using your email to train AI” debacle is imo most instructively seen as tracer dye for multiple failures: many people are instinctively skeptical of tech companies now; and many outlets that should have had experts able to cogently weigh in and go “wait a minute” simply don’t anymore.

one of my favorite genres of comedy is talking very seriously to or about babies like they're just extremely small adults, and no one is doing it right now like Danny Lavery

"where in this early modern Calabrian village do you see a bike?" laid me out

Editors have a really hard job, and the good ones can make something unreadable readable, and the great ones can make something unreadable into something good. But they're basically invisible, until someone tries to write without one.

Student! Robot! Drama!

Seems like someone's mad their kid didn't get the, uh, prestigious robot driver position? And decided to make it the entire district's problem in an absolutely insane way
