We must acknowledge that this regime does not care what is legal, they enjoy making people suffer & they have zero accountability. Until more Americans wake up to this reality, we will continue to be abducted, assaulted, deported, denied due process, experience taxation without representation, etc.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

also I want to stress that ordinarily a person's health is nobody's business but maybe their own and /or their loved ones. But he made his health our business when he became a senator and it seems to be increasingly affecting his capacity to serve his constituents

The Supreme Court has given ICE free reign to stop and detain people based on nothing more than appearance, accent, job, or location, and this dragnet is now sweeping up U.S. citizens. University of Toronto professor and fascism expert Jason Stanley warns that "we are now a country where you have to bring your papers around." Furthermore, Stanley says that "if you instill fear in Black and brown citizens that they will have this interaction with ICE, they're much less likely to show up" to vote or participate in civic life.

In the civil rights era, they smeared leaders as “communist” to break their credibility and stall their momentum. It was the easiest way to silence dissent and turn justice movements into supposed security threats.

at one point, i watched a cook county sheriff’s officer (who appears to be in charge) point out a priest in the crowd.
