I think one of the problems is that students frequently believe that classes are something to be endured, just obstacle to getting a piece of paper certifying they endured it rather than a genuine opportunity for learning and the exploration of ideas.

What if we could work with our public libraries to create + sustain convivial infrastructures for local news, local 🎶, digital equity, and more? this is accurate along multiple dimensions

they’re getting dumber and more right wing but they are now smarter and more left wing in comparison to the people they see on twitter all day (stupid nazis) which also leads them to be even more prone to dismissing criticism from the left
twitter is making mainstream reporters dumber, and because they're all getting dumber together, none of them can recognize it and they actually think they're getting smarter

Too bad the GOP effectively criminalized studying how information moves online and news orgs laid off and demonized all the reporters who covered the burgeoning online accelerationist performative death cults. All of that work was somehow "censorship" that needed to be stopped. Now we're here.
