if two people are already restraining someone physically while spraying their face with pepper spray, that is torture, plain and simple. no debate to be had about it
This is a photo of someone being tortured, not someone being restrained

Democratic Leadership will never cut funding for ICE state-sanctioned terrorism without extreme pressure.

That’s why a coalition of creators (w/ a reach of over 20 million followers) & organizers are presenting them with an ultimatum if they don’t whip their caucuses against this DHS funding bill.

I think an underrated low-simmering point of discontent about our economy is the bifurcation of consumer goods between "extremely low quality Chinese crap" on the low end and "artisanal-batch high quality extremely expensive stuff" on the high end.

BUT, imo, Occupy Wall Street was when the idea of 'whiteness' saving your ass was over with. That's what some people need to pick up on.

Simply being white won't save you. You now have to also be the right type of white.

You should pick a side.

the number of gigantic marches I have attended this year that barely got mentioned in the NYT if at all, smdh
'Why aren't they in the streets' is answered almost every day in my small town by people in the streets! Rather than asking 'why aren't they in the streets' it's worth asking 'why isn't your media showing them in the streets' and 'who is served by downplaying resistane in its myriad forms.'
The idea that there are no protests in the US and no one is standing up to Trump is proving incredibly hard to kill over here in Germany. It’s become dogma, utterly detached from empirical reality.

I wonder if the people who keep talking like that understand they’re perpetuating regime propaganda.
