Wife to the love of my life, mother to Mike and Dave, grandmother of 2. Mad about anything wild. "Woke" and proud of it.
I remember learning this at school. I didn't remember it was such a depressing little poem! And not strictly accurate, either.

@ouphollandlatic.bsky.social Hi, John. @34020seaton.bsky.social and I are coming down to the New Forest over Xmas. Are you close enough for a meetup? If you'd like to, DM either of us. It would be lovely to meet you. ☺️

At the Budget, the Green Party's message is clear: Cut Bills. Tax Billionaires.

Look at the link, @34020seaton.bsky.social . Wonderful.
I meant to delete this test post, but since I forgot to, here is an explanation of what it is!

"Leaping from Wood Wharf’s waters, the piece serves as a striking reminder of the millions of tonnes of plastic waste swimming in the Atlantic & Pacific oceans."

Thanks to our brilliant supporters who turned up in the cold to protest outside the DHSC building today.

Like the 17,000+ people who signed our petition, they don't want the NHS burdened with decades of debt.

The message is clear: Rachel Reeves, Wes Streeting, no new private finance in our NHS!

Labour is no longer the party of trade unions or the NHS. It's time for unions to stop funding them and for voters to vote Green, to actually support a properly funded and staffed NHS.

NHS staff still earn less than we did in 2010.
'Don't tell me you don't want to be out on strike - because that is exactly where you are. Own it.'

As resident doctors walk out again, Wes Streeting calls out the 'reprehensible and cartel-like behaviour' of their union.

Those who want the UK to leave the ECHR should read this.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

For all those who gave their lives and loved ones left behind. May we also think of those who also serve today and in the future, giving their lives in duty.

Wish for peace. Pray for peace.

If Reform can go from nought to sixty in 5 seconds (in terms of support & prominence) why can’t the millions of left-leaning people do exactly the same for @greenparty.org.uk ?
It’s not beyond the realms of possibility.
The old two-party monopoly is dead.
Be part of the change. ✊💚

Just seen a headline which asks "Thatcher was born 100 years ago and her reign feels a lifetime away. Why is her effect on the country still so huge?"

It's because she was a massive bastard. Hope that helps x

Simply this! 👇

We share more similarities with people from other countries than we ever will with the millionaires & billionaires, yet it's the latter who bring us the most misery.

Immigrants, poor, sick, & benefit claimants are NOT the problem. Don't listen to our politicians & our biased media.
When are we going to realise that people from foreign lands are not automatically our enemy… but the likes of Michelle Mone and her husband (and those millionaires and billionaires who are making money out of your misery and at your expense) are!
