FWIW the one I'm reading now was primarily written by a BYU alum and it's not *quite* as bad as you may think, but it's damn close

After a couple better textbooks, the one I just finished mentions only one trans person by name: Caitlyn Jenner.
The author mentions that the Biden administration had a trans health official, but left out Rachel Levine's name 🙄

This was horrific to watch. Agents entering a daycare, wrestling with and abducting a teacher in front of small screaming children. I just… what the fuck are we doing here.
this morning, ICE went into a Spanish language immersion daycare and took a teacher from the building in front of screaming and crying kids and parents at dropoff and the daycare had to shut down for the day (near Lane Tech, where they were yesterday). Really hoping today's "theme" is not "daycare."

I'm a Democrat, but I always vote for D candidates on the Working Families Party line if I can. When a bunch of us do that, it sends a big message to do-nothing, centrist Ds that we REALLY CARE about progressive policies and standing up for everybody.
