"I don't think people that were born and raised in the cities can represent us to the same extent," says some dude who almost certainly voted for the president from New York City.
The passage of Proposition 50, which redrew California’s congressional map, means that all of the state’s conservative north is likely to be represented by Democrats. “I don’t think people that were born and raised in the cities can represent us to the same extent,” one farmer said.
Northern California Conservatives Are Frustrated They Could Get a Democratic Representative

We already have this, it's a TV show called "Wipeout."
2026 prediction: Mr. Beast gets someone killed in one of his little stunts, sees no consequences and it becomes a regular thing.

Someone stealing your groceries is clearly not operating as an agent of the law in any capacity, and should be treated the same way that right wingers routinely tell us they're "allowed" to treat would-be thieves in public with "second amendment solutions"
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

I do not specifically wish harm and poverty and suffering upon right wing grifters, I simply wish that they get to live in the world they try to create for others.
We don't need to wish poverty and suffering on the people who are very squarely in the wrong. Hate the sin, love the sinner, and try to point her in the direction of justice and fairness.

You know what? Fine. I'm giving props to NYT for choosing the banner photo of a Charlie Kirk sign in front of the wife killer's house.

They're calling it "the least serious publication in America"
Bari Weiss was right about how to improve the “60 Minutes” CECOT report, Graeme Wood argues—but her “drama-detector, so refined when seeking out news stories, seems to have failed her when avoiding it in her own newsroom.”

Naming your little media company after the first amendment, finally getting a real job, and then turning around and immediately allowing the White House veto power over your stories is a perfect microcosm of every single right wing grift.
One explanation for Bari killing the story is that she did so as a public act of fealty to the administration. But another is that, as an inexperienced journalist, she doesn’t understand that a refusal to go on the record is a kind of comment in and of itself

Starting to think the whole "let the president and his friends decide if the president did anything wrong" idea wasn't so great.
Insane that Trump’s CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER is the one managing the release of the Epstein files

If Trump is the #1 guy on the planet with the most supporters in denial about him being a pedophile, MJ's gotta be #2. Hoping this helps bury him a little further.

After all of the talk about the 2024 in-roads Republicans supposedly made with Gen Z, this right wing think tank put together a 20 person focus group of them, and could only find 2 who weren't white, and 1 of those 2 walked out. Good luck with those demographics in the most diverse generation yet.
From the right-wing Manhattan Institute's focus group of Gen Z conservatives -- just jaw-dropping stuff. We have a very sick society. www.city-journal.org/article/manh...

Making sure to include the giant crucifix necklace in your sketch of the guy who keeps claiming Jewish heritage while he talks about "understanding Hitler" is a real nice touch by the artist here.

Tell me again about how Zohran Mamdani is the big threat to Jewish thriving in the US today.

There's literally one group of Americans who have sued all the way to the Supreme Court to protect their right to never ever ever have to be brave or heroic under any circumstances and have been given unimpeachable protection for defending themselves, and 80% of our country thinks they're heroes.
via Breaking911, here are the radio transmissions from Providence police responding to the Brown University shooting

Officers standing outside not entering during the critical moments, allowed the shooter to escape

The public wants police to take on risk but there is no incentive for them to do so

It's even funnier because on top of obviously talking about himself, this statement *itself* is a part of a pivot for his grift to differentiate himself enough that he can still be a mainstream grifter instead of a fringe one.
Ben Shapiro: "Today I want to talk about something even more important — how to discern those attempting to speak truth from frauds and grifters…The conservative movement is in danger from charlatans who claim to speak in the name of principle but actually traffic in conspiracy and dishonesty."

Literally the only workplace race-based discrimination a white man ever actually faces in America is if he gets a job at a restaurant and continually fucks up the tickets, and every once in a while one of the Latino short order cooks yells out "El guero strikes again!" and they all laugh for a bit
Another incredible case of white racial grievance about the academic job market.

He reveals at the end that he wouldn’t provide the necessary application materials!

Crazy how so much of our country's oil somehow disappeared under another country's soil.
Trump on Venezuela: "Getting land, oil rights, whatever we had -- they took it away because we had a president that maybe wasn't watching. But they're not gonna do that. We want it back. They took our oil rights. We had a lot of oil there. They threw our companies out. And we want it back."

How the fuck you gonna be the former mayor of San Francisco and dickride Ronald fucking Reagan
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

This statement is serving to disgrace the long, dignified history of the FIFA Peace Prize
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."

If Luigi Mangione had waited like 6 more weeks to shoot the UHC guy, he'd probably be sipping Mai Tais in Bali
Gotta say it's mindblowing to me that the Brown shooter is still at large and they don't even seem to have identified who they're looking for.
