Hate to be *that* person but—this was a (yes, “guerrilla”) project I made in my senior year of art school, back in 2004…
Tonight proves two things: he's irrelevant, and therefore, he's replaceable.
Q: It's election day in NYC. Did you vote for Mamdani or Cuomo?

Schumer: "Look, I voted, and I look forward to working with the next mayor to help NYC."

Two of the most significant politics editors in Teen Vogue’s history were working class trans people from Ohio and Philly, and their tireless, fearless work is a huge part of why so many people are mourning its demise now. @satansjacuzzi.bsky.social and @leximcmenamin.com you will always be famous

I made these circa 2005, just out of art school. Been waiting 20 years to post…

I'm telling you once we dislodge wine moms from the waning influence of the Dem Party establishment losers and deploy them against that same establishment, the world is ours

Glad everyone is discovering how great Becca Rothfeld, the writer of that scathing book review is—she used to write for @thebaffler.com! Back in 2018 she wrote about the toxicity of positivity/self-help/liberal feminism—one of my fave pieces ever to art direct.

I’m supposed to immediately cancel the anti-establishment economic populist with a checkered past as working class dude but I’m supposed to excuse Biden, the president/party leader who enacted some of the most racist, sexist, zionist, corporate enabling policy of the past 40 years. Got it.

Platner is literally going in the opposite direction of Fetterman, but to Democratic Party consultants and fanboys “normal looking guy” is all the same to them, which is one of the main reasons the party has been shedding this particular voter base for a decade
I really believe we deserve Senators who are neither Diane Feinstein nor John Fetterman but I’m not sure the universe agrees
Really gonna have to be good at politics!

You should not be able to automatically subscribe me to a substack I’ve never heard of written by a person I never heard of and had to look up to realize that I’ve had them blocked them on Twitter. Where do these people get their email lists from and why is mine on there

Palestine is everywhere
Earlier today I was listening to one of the hosts from Here and Now repeatedly ask a resident from Southeast Chicago whether throwing rocks at ICE was justified. And finally she just said, "They invaded our community. They have machine guns."

If you're a millennial into "music"—like, just MUSIC at all—all roads intersected with D'Angelo at some point. Even if you didn't listen to him (and you probably did). To be *so good* that you redefine an entire genre and then that style reverberates upon all other genres? What an incalculable loss.
