No it’s not. ICE is the behemoth it is because it was literally never reigned in—not by Obama, not by Biden. All they did was shovel more money their way. It’s a through line. This doesn’t stop until you stop these people. You can’t control Republicans. But you sure as hell better stop making excuses as to why the opposition party doesn’t oppose this while you give them your money and support and votes (and dismiss those who bring up these simple statement of facts)

The only way the next democratic administration is going to do anything even somewhat resembling reforming and rooting out lawless thugs from ICE and elsewhere is due to sustained popular pressure. Otherwise, the instinct from the Dem elite to just turn the page and move on is going to be massive

The only way the next democratic administration is going to do anything even somewhat resembling reforming and rooting out lawless thugs from ICE and elsewhere is due to sustained popular pressure. Otherwise, the instinct from the Dem elite to just turn the page and move on is going to be massive
Remember the outrage you feel today next time a Dem who needs your vote says "we can't get carried away course correcting after Trump" or some other BS excuse for inaction. Because 95% of those in office think exactly that. And their job is to convince you that your fellow voters don't care enough.
