The best cloud formations are almost always seen from space, and I love a good classic marine cold air outbreak. Here is a storm from late December last year; they are pretty much ubiquitous in the winter in both hemispheres so I only had to scroll back a bit to find a really nice-looking one.

to be in: generic tropical rainfall. I love how warm humid air feels on my skin, I love the cooling effect the rain and clouds have, and I love that it's dramatic without (usually) being dangerous.

I am once again pointing out that Holly Hunter is the same height as me, a normal sized person, and this is how normal people sit. It’s taller people who are weird.
I see the Holly Hunter chair dialogue still going from #StarFleetAcademy - people seem to think it's purposely weird or quirky or feminine.

I’m reading reading Free by Lea Ypi and it is as excellent as I’d expected based on an interview I watched with her earlier this year. It’s a personal memoir/family history—she is Albanian. Cw for cat harm though ☹️

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
