Yesterday was the 8 year anniversary of us arriving in the UK, but more importantly, today is the 8 year anniversary of our elderly cat with chronic kidney disease arriving safely in the UK — from Australia! I had been anxious for months and will never forget how relieved I was to see her

Today I joined people in leafleting outside a computer shop as HP is one of our main boycott targets (see the BDS website for more info on why). Then a march in the pouring rain and a rally after, which is shown in the picture.

I haven’t posted about it much, but I’ve been attending Palestine solidarity marches in my city most Saturdays since Israel’s genocide against Gaza began. It helps me feel less alone, less despair. I know Palestinians are heartened to see these protests. I’m gonna keep posting this every Saturday
