Controversial take, perhaps, but for all the political interfering and all its faults, the BBC is a positive institution. Like the NHS, it's a remnant of socialism in an increasingly capitalist hellscape. This is why the right on both sides of the pond are coming for it. It needs support.

Controversial take, perhaps, but for all the political interfering and all its faults, the BBC is a positive institution. Like the NHS, it's a remnant of socialism in an increasingly capitalist hellscape. This is why the right on both sides of the pond are coming for it. It needs support.
It kinda sucks that, ever since a bunch of clout chasers tried to cancel Critical Role by claiming their Indiana Jones-inspired opening titles were supporting colonialism, they've been too scared to do anything fun with the opening credits.

When you break a story exposing someone for a crime, you have to give them the right to reply, to defend themselves. You do not need to also expose someone else for a similar crime so it's "fair". This is Farage's mates setting up a straw man documentary to justify suppressing the truth.
