Trump's appeal is very similar to that of a stand-up comedian. he violates social norms and always says the shit his voters are thinking. their fanatic loyalty comes from the fact that he created space for them to be more honest without fear of consequence. they will love him forever over that.
I really struggle with believing Trump's talents.
Because I see the effects of them, but... Every time he opens his mouth, he's very obviously an obnoxious (and frequently incoherent) bully.
I literally cannot see the appeal. I am unable to discern how anyone could find him appealing.
